Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Caroline Hederick. I am a Junior at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been playing competitive tennis for 7 years. This consists of tournament and matchplay year-round, as well as playing #2 Varsity Singles for two years at my school.

My typical week is composed of a full day of classes at school, followed by group tennis clinic on Monday and Wednesday and training and private lessons on Tuesday and Thursday. My weekends remain open for tournament play. In the summertime, my clinics run for 6 hours Monday through Thursday. During the summers of 2018 and 2019, I have attended The IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for two weeks each year.

Outside of school and tennis, I enjoy spending time with friends. I also truly appreciate photography. Although I have not currently decided on a college academic path, I possibly see myself leaning towards studying Telecommunications, Spanish, or Business/Marketing. 

The world is big, and so are my dreams.
