Anna Ivanova '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, coaches! My name is Anna and I am from Moscow, Russia. I have been playing tennis for about 8 years. First, when I started, i was playing at local sport club for kids, than my family wanted me to play on  more professional level, so we chose academy in Moscow, where I have been playing for already 4 years. I have about 6 trainings on court a week  and I also do general physical exercises every day. Another reason why I am very involved in this sport is that i watch the ATP and WTA tournaments and always stay up to date with all the events happening in the tours. My favourite tennis players are Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz and Maria Sharapova. 

My dream is to play for college team, than start my professional career and play at WTA. Tennis is my passion, i can’t even imagine myself without it. That’s not just sport for me, it’s my life. I am very motivated to work hard every day as much as needed. My main feature is that I never give up, i stay focused and trying to think positively even when I make mistakes. 

I have been learning English for about 10 years, i have visited US several times and i really like American culture. I like to study the processes occurring in living organisms, especially human physiology; as well as the processes of development of living organisms and their evolution. In addition, I am interested in the history of mankind and the study of different cultures, including their languages. Now I have Upper Intermediate English level and I am preparing for SAT exam.
