Hi! My name is Erin Delaney and I’m interested in studying journalism and political science at an academically rigorous university while continuing to play competitive team tennis. I’ve been playing tennis since I was four and immediately fell in love with the sport the minute I started playing. That passion has since grown into what it is today and I strive to improve every time I step out on court. Being a student athlete has allowed me to develop the time management, leadership, and the mental toughness skills that are needed to survive both in college and the “real world.” I’m a very hard worker and I always push myself to do better athletically and academically. Continuing to play competitive team tennis in college would allow to me continue to further develop the skills mentioned above while pursuing the sport I love.
