I love the game of tennis and I want to compete at a high level!
Tennis in Montana has not come without a challenge. In Bozeman, Montana, there are only four indoor tennis courts that belong to the University. Because of this, my accessibility to court time and coaching is limited during the winter months. The challenges of playing tennis in Montana have made me extremely focused and hardworking on and off the court. I have learned to be very proactive and motivated to reach my goals.
I currently compete at a sectional and national level with the USTA. My experience competing at this level has helped me grow as a person and focus on the hard work, commitment, and sacrifice that is required to play at the college level. I won Montana AA state tennis last season and I loved being part of a team. I am playing in a ITA Level 4 TOA Team Invitational at the end of February in Las Vegas and my high school season starts in March. I will also be playing in the Intermountain L4 Spring Masters tournament in Las Vegas the begining of April.
I know how to balance my academics, athletics, and personal life with a positive attitude. On the court or in the classroom, I’m at my best when I’m faced with a challenge or put in a competitive situation. I believe I can take on any challenge and will always give my best effort both athletically and academically to have a positive impact on your program.
