Personal Statement
Being a great athlete is one thing. Being able to manage school, homework, various sports and activities, and work is another. I am an all around athletic person. I have never struggled with accomplishing my goals and playing sports. Tennis became my passion at a very young age. Most students only either focus on their particular sport or only focus on school. Balance is what is needed to succeed. I have a balance. I not only play tennis everyday but I have a job, where I teach kids how to swim and I also play sports for school; swimming, tennis, and lacrosse. I have 3 AP classes in school, which is more than most people take and the rest of my classes are honors. I transferred schools my junior year and the switch was a challenge. It was difficult at first but then because my job was close by things worked out. In wake up and go to school, have my school practice, go to work before it starts, finish my homework and study, work and then go play tennis for usually 2 hours. I learned that I have pushed myself so hard that now I get bored if I have nothing to do. With that my extracurricular activities include going to polish school for 11 years (I graduate polish school this year 2018), I’m involved in polish school, community service club, environmental club, cancer awareness club, ski and snowboarding club, and NNH. Helping people is in my blood. I always had a need for helping people and tha they are worth something. Choosing between being Vet a Police officer was a challenge but with more knowledge in school and asking my fellow peers I chose being a vet. Having most of my future already laced out, knowing who I want to be when I’m older, being an exponential athlete and student, going above and beyond with everything I do, and most importantly I do what I’m told and never complain.
