Skyy Edwards '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing tennis since I was 12 years old and I've loved it ever since. I've always been a fast learner and I am very coachable. When I'm out on the court, the only thing on my mind is to play a smart and strong game against my opponent to win. Endurance is key and I exceed in that area. I am quick and I have a pretty long reach. I am above average height for a female and I use that to my advantage over my opponents. Even though I still have room to improve, I know that I am a very strong competitor and I am a very determined athlete. Any sport I choose to play, I dominate. I feel like some teams lack confidence and I can bring that fire to any team. I have been looking forward to playing tennis in college for a long time and I didn't get serious about tennis till last year. It is definitely my favorite sport to play and I am excited for my future tennis career.
