Hello I'm Alina Plucinik Im a sophmore in highschool and i've been playing tennis for about a year. I came into tennis my freshman year of highschool not knowing much. I was ranked the number 8th girl and I was in the 4th doubles team. At the end of the season I started to get a little better, I asked my coach if I could play 2 singles matches and she said yes. I have never played a singles match that counted but I won both of them 8-0. At the end of the season my coach told me if I put in the work I might have a chance of being on varsity. The following summer I played tennis 4-5 hours daily and it continued into the fall. I found a trainer and started taking lessons and I did outside of school tournaments such as Universal tennis. By the time season came I improved phenomenally. Once practice started we played for rankings and I became the number 1 girl, I beat a senior that's been playing for 7 years 4-0. I have a strong drive for tennis I put my blood sweat and tears into this sport. I try to be encouraging to my teammates and people I play with. I think I would be a good candidate for your team, I have a good worth ethic and a great passion for things I love such as tennis and wont ever stop until I feel like i've gone beyond the limit of succeeding!
