Hi! My name is Ava Leung and I currently attend Saint Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas. Tennis is a passion for me and I would be thrilled to continue playing in my academic career. I am a good fit for collegiate tennis because of my love for the sport and my optimistic and hardworking attitude. I motivate my teammates and increase the team spirit and unity because I encourage and support my teammates. Additionally, my dedication can be seen in the classroom and on the tennis court. In the classroom, my diligence is evident through my schoolwork and grades as I work hard to maintain a high GPA and build relationships with my peers and teachers while balancing school tennis and competitive tournament tennis. On the tennis court, I am constantly striving to learn more about tennis as I study the professionals, read books about tennis, and think about my technique, mental game, and strategies. I am eager to improve my game and grow as a player, person, friend, and teammate and I will be a great contribution to your team!
