Shelbee Timberlake '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! 

My name is Shelbee Timberlake.  I am a current a senior at Lake Worth High School in Texas. I am currently the head captain of the varsity tennis team and this is my second year being the hard captain.  I personally am wanting to go into college tennis because tennis means a lot to me and has always been a big thing to me.  One of the many reasons why tennis means a lot to me is because of my grandfather. It had brought me and my grandpa closer because he was always a big tennis person. He had gotten the chance to have a full ride scholarship just off of tennis. He unfortunately, passed one very early morning in the hospital.  It took a toll on me and my game play for a little while but throughout those moments I have always pushed through the hard times to get to what I want and what I would love to achieve in life.
