Personal Statement
I just finished my junior year at Cabell Midland High School (Ona, WV). I have always been driven to excel athletically and academically. My foundations in life are built on family, faith, education, and respect. I am fortunate to have an athletic build (5’9”/155 lbs.) that can support the speed and strength necessary for excellence in my chosen sports and I have used these to my advantage in tennis, track and soccer. As a multi-sport athlete I have often had to divide my time in training, however tennis has always been my first love. For the next two years enhancing my tennis skills to enable me to play winning college tennis is my number one priority. Here are some of my tennis accomplishments: *6/22/20-6/29/20 I defeated one - 8 UTR (6-0/6-1) and two - 7 UTR players (college juniors) at the G18 UTR American Clay Court Nationals and at a ITA/UTR tournament. 6/19/21 defeated an 8 UTR at the Midwest Closed Championships*
- 2022 WVSSAC All-State tennis team (only 6 players selected)
- 2022 MSAC #1 singles conference champion
- 2021 WVSSAC State Champion in #1 singles and runner-up in #1 doubles (40-4 combined record)
- 2021 WVSSAC All-State tennis team (only 6 players selected)
- 2021 WVSSAC region IV champion in #1 singles and #1 doubles
- 2021/2019 WVSSAC Team Runner-Up (Cabell Midland)
- Undefeated (36-0) 2019 WVSSAC State Champion in singles and doubles as a freshman (sophomore 2020 season was cancelled due to Covid-19)
- 2019 WVSSAC All-State tennis team (only 6 players selected)
- 2019 WVSSAC region IV and MSAC conference champion in singles and doubles
- 27 career USTA tournament wins (163-148 overall record)
- Ranked as high as 81st in the USTA G16 Midwest standings
- Nationally ranked as high as 285 on Tennis Recruiting Network as a three star recruit and 287 on Tennis RPI
- 7 UTR in singles and doubles during 2019-2021
- #1 ranked 2022 USTA & TRN female tennis player in West Virginia 2017-2020
- 104-4 combined singles/doubles record in all WV USTA & high school matches since 2017
- 2018 & 2019 & 2021 WV MSAC All-Conference soccer team (freshman & sophomore & senior)
- 2021 WVSSAC All-Region IV soccer team
- 2021 WVSSAC 1st Team All-State Soccer (Midland HS Team Captain)
My cumulative high school GPA is 4.36.
