Ukeme Ekpoh '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ukeme Ekpoh and I am 16 years old. I just completed my junior year at Sunrise Mountain High School, and not only was I the captain of the girls track team, but I currently hold the school record for the 400m dash. Although track is a very important aspect of my life, so is my academics. My goal after high school is to major in Physiology at an University that helps me excel as both an athlete and a student. I would be a great addition to any track team because of my determination and ambition. Looking back at the first two years of running track, I can see how drastically I have improved. I am determined to do whatever it takes to reach my full potential as an athlete by putting all my effort into practices and meets. I believe that this is just the beginning of my track career, and if I remain focused and continue to work hard, success will be the outcome. I believe that I have great potential as a student athlete, and I hope that you think the same.
