My name is Jayleene Romo and i’m a 4’11 track and field hurdler. I have been running since the fifth grade, both Cross country and track. Until high school when I mainly focused on running hurdles. I’ve been apart of GRIT athletics and have been mentored by great hurdle athletes. My goals for collegiate running are to run my fastest times and keep improving my technique. I differ from the average hurdler mainly through my height. Hurdling is my passion and I continue to find ways to constantly improve my technique.
