Alyssa Perrini '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa, and I am a senior at Empire High School in Tucson, Arizona.  In addition to track, I've played soccer and basketball in middle school. I played basketball my freshman year, and I resumed playing soccer in 11th grade and plan to play my senior year as well.

I have competed for AZ Adrenaline Track Club with Coach Vince Alexander in Vail, AZ.  My coaches have said that I lead by example.

I have won and placed at USATF Arizona and Region X championships in 2012, 2014, 2015 & 2016 and 2017 in Discus, Javelin & Shot Put.

In 2017 I won the USATF Arizona State Championship in Javelin, and placed top 5 in both Discus and Shot Put. I decided not to attend the Region X meet, although I qualified in Javelin and Discus.  I did not participate in USATF meets during the 2018 season.

I qualified for USATF Jr. Olympic Nationals in 2012 (9-10 Turbo Javelin 13th & Shot 33rd), 2014 (11-12 Turbo Javelin Gold Medalist, Discus 13th and Shot Put 9th), 2015 (13-14 Discus 10th, Javelin 9th & Shot 33rd) and 2016 (6th Javelin, 15th Shot and Discus DNC due to illness).

After HS graduation, I hope to play soccer AND throw Discus and Javelin at the collegiate level if I am given the opportunity.
