5A State 800 2019Personal Statement
I always give my best in the classroom and on the track/course. Integrity is very important to me; my desire is to be remembered for always going above and beyond what is expected for normal work ethic. I've attended NIKE Smoky Mountain Running Camp in Asheville, NC directed by Coach Drosky of Georgia Tech. Each year I attended, I was awarded the Ms. Smoky Mountain Running Camp award. Campers are nominated and voted on by staff for their efforts during training but also the all around encouragement and energy they bring during the week. It's important to me to always be motivational to those around me, to lead by example, never expect an effort from my teammates or classmates that I am not willing to give, and to always be the best version of myself.
In college I would like to major in Kinesiology related field and eventually acquire my Masters Degree in Athletic Training. I would ultimately like to work in a high school or collegiate coaching/training role.
