Emma Arredondo '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, I’m Emma Arredondo a Senior at Bishop Amat High School.   I started playing soccer at 4 years old up until 7th grade, when I decided to run for a  local youth track club.  At the high school level I run both cross country and track.  My freshman and junior years I ran 17:58 for 3 miles.  Most recently during the 2022 Cross Country season I competed in the 2022 Woodbridge Classic Sweepstakes race and posted a three mile time of 16:55.90.  I followed up that time with a new PR of 16:52.8 at the 2022 ASICS Temecula Twilight 3-mile race. 

I am the Camino Del Rey League Cross Country Champion and MVP for three consecutive years running.   

During the 2022 track season I competed at the CIF Southern Section Finals finishing fourth in the 3200m with a time of 11:12.75.  

I've enjoyed a breakthrough Cross Country season so far and believe it will carry me to a successful 2023 track season and expect look to lower my 800/1600/3200 times. 

I am a very dedicated runner who trains hard, eats healthy, stretches often, and incorporates strength training.  I truly love the sport and would love to run in college and reach my full potential!
