(Currently, a Junior College Athlete)
I first started running at a very young age. I always enjoyed running around the field and chasing my sister around the house. No one could stop me from running all over the place, and I always found it fascinating that no one could catch me, so it encouraged me to run faster. The second semester of Freshman year was when I first joined Track, and I had no idea what an adventure was ahead of me. At first, I did face some challenges because I was behind everyone, and I had to work extra hard to keep up with the complex practices and workouts. However, I managed to keep up and be organized since I had more responsibilities. I broke the school record for the fastest Girl record at 12.88, and I was thrilled because I knew hard work pays off. In my Sophomore year, my teammates and I broke our 4x100 meter time at 48.48, and It was such a happy moment; I also broke my 100-meter record now I hold a time of 12.69. The track has taught me many things, such as being a leader, partner, and hard worker and never giving up when times get rough. I have many goals for my future, and I know that if I keep up my hard work, I can achieve them. I like to major in psychology at an excellent college to further my education and career. I would love to be a fantastic new element to your school.
