My collegiate goals are to compete at the college level in track and get my balchlors degree, and my master, and continue to pursue my education pursue my education. I know it will be hard and I know it won't come easy but I believe in myself and I am sure that I won't be alone. What makes me a good candidate is that I'm not afraid of hard work. I don't quit when the road gets tough. What makes me different is that I like to challenge myself in everything I do. In middle school I was a B or C student but I remember on thanksgiving of my 8th grade year my aunt was bragging to my mom about how her kid had straight As and that's when I realized that I wanted to give my parents something to brag about. My freshman year I was told I wasn't going to make the volleyball team and now I'm a senior on the varsity team and my coach tells me I'm one of the strongest hitters on the team. I'm smart enough to know that dedication and hard work will get you as far as you want it to. I know my parents have tried their best to give me everything I need and want. They may not have the most education or know how to speak good English but they've gotten me this far and now it's up to me to do what I have to do in order to have a successful future.
