Personal Statement
I have been competitively running track since my freshmen year at Mission Viejo High School, and recently started running for a club team, Heat Athletics.
I am a former gymnast of 13 years, but recently discovered a love for track. I have always dreamed of being a collegiate athlete ever since I could remember. I believe that I would be a large asset to any college due to my ready to learn personality. Although I have only been training track full time for a short amount of time, I have been named captain of the frosh/soph and varsity hurdlers at my high school and went to CIF as only a sophomore along with being second in the South Coast League in the 100 meter high hurdles.
I maintain a high GPA in all honors, advanced placement, and International Baccelaureate classes. I also volunteer at my local public library as well as at Choc Children's Hospital.
If you ask any of my close friends or family, they will tell you that I am one of a kind. With my spunky, fun loving, energetic personality, I am very easy to get along with. I believe that my type of outgoing personality will be essential to any college. I am one of the hardest working hurdler/sprinter you will meet. I am open to all options of colleges, but mainly to find the perfect match to meet my academic and athletic needs.
