Personal Statement
I have been competing in track and field and cross country for nearly 10 years, and have had the opportunity to learn from numerous coaches and athletes. Because of this, I will be able to bring my own experience and knowledge my college team. I am focused and love my sport, as well as being a diligent student in the classroom. I was chosen to be a team captain of my cross country team because my coaches and teammates believe that I lead by example with my behavior both on and off the course. My only aspiration at this time to to find a college team that will enable me to continue to progress and fulfill my full potential as an athlete.
