Akaylah Hill '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Akaylah Hill. I attend Redondo Union High School.  I have been running/jumping in track and field for eight years. I have never been the fastest or the farthest jumper, but I have continued to work hard and never gave up year after year. Competing all those years against some of the best competition is what makes me different from everyone else, my hard work and determination to be better each time out. I am a team player. I have school spirt, I’m a hard worker, and determined to reach all my goals on the track and in the classroom. My goals for after high school are to earn a scholarship and to continue to run and jump at collegiate level and receive excellent education in the process.  My biggest dream is to make the USA Olympic team in 2020 and 2024.
