Hello, my name is Olivia Barnhill and I would like to pursue a degree in nursing and become an L&D nurse (Labor and Delivery Nurse). I want to be an L&D nurse because I would love to help people and I think that being a part of something so life changing and important to someone else would feel good. I also wish to continue running and vaulting in college. Running and vaulting allows me to let go of unhelpful or unpleasant thoughts and lets me enjoy the moment. Being a part of a team, making some new friends, that feeling of getting a PR- those are all things I love about track and field.
I feel that I am a dedicated and caring person who works hard to make a positive impact on the people and things in my life. I continue to work on improving in my sports, academics, and making friends.
