I have been competing in Track and Field since I was 12 years old. As soon as I starting competing, I knew that I had the aspirations to compete at the college level. Competing in collegiate sports would be an amazing opportunity to further my athletic and academic career.
On the track, I am an extremely hard working, always pushing myself to do the best I can do. Now going into my Senior year, I am a team captain and strive to lead my teammates by example. Furthermore, I always stay positive during workouts because I believe that is an important part to help lead my team. I am very coachable and always asking questions such as "How can I do better?".
I maintain a high GPA and one of the hardest working students in the classroom. At times, school is difficult for me, but I always put my 100% effort into making sure I will succeed. I volunteer at a kids science camp in my free time and I have an internship at my school as the athletic intern.
I would like to attend a college where I can further my athletic career and push myself in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a positive role model to my peers and to make my parents and coaches proud.
