My collegiate goals are to push my mind and body both mentally and physically to their limits. I want to learn to embrace the discomfort that comes with college level training while still being healthy. I believe I am a good candidate because I am very raw and still have a lot of molding that can be done with good coaching. My high-school coach is awesome but I got caught up in the middle of the pandemic so I did not get to start track as a freshman and only had a very limited sophomore year. I think what will make me different is that I understand athletics is a privilege and I don’t take that for granted. I respect that it’s a privilege and has to be earned. My academics and love for god will build my character, my athletics will strengthen it.
