Personal Statement
I love track and I love to compete. My passion to run began at the early age of eight. As a daughter of an active military family, I began competing in middle school and club in El Paso, Texas. In El Paso, I was District Champion in long jump and 300m hurdles. Not only am I competitive in track & field, but also in my academics.
With a current 4.023 GPA, I participate in extracurricular activities such as coding, and providing child care for families at the local church. I'm actively involved with Sisterhood leadership program, Robotics & Coding, and the National Honors Society (NHS). As a student athlete, I believe in working hard with drive to get better everyday while encouraging those around me to do the same. I believe I can help any program by encouraging my teammates to enjoy life, win as an athlete, and win in the classroom.
