Hannah Meek '17 Recruiting Profile

I have always been an active, competitive person. I strive to do what others can't, but I am also a team player and someone who likes to encourage others to do their best. My love for running began at a young age and since then has allowed me many accomplishments on and off the track. This past track season I placed 3rd in long jump at state, achieving a distance of 18' 3/4". This is the first year I have competed in long jump and  I had only jumped 6 times before the state meet. Being a part of a team has taught me the importance of character, and integrity. I strive to be a good role model in my everyday life. My future goals are to be the best athlete I can be and obtain a degree in marine biology, which will allow me to work with marine animals that have been hurt or are sick.
