I am currently a junior at RHAM High School and I am dedicated to running just as much as working hard academically. I run all year round, from cross country to indoor and outdoor track. My goal is to get much stronger and smarter as a student athlete as each upcoming season approaches, including those beyond high school if I earn that privilege. I am an All-State recipient in cross country with a time of 20:38 (5K). I run long distance races best in track, specifically the 1600m, 3200m, and 5000m. I also run the 2k and 3k steeplechase. I am a very self-motivated and driven runner who works hard both on and off-season to see drastic improvement. A difference I find between myself and other athletes is that I never settle for my performances even if they happen to be new personal records. At the end of my career, I want to have reassurance that I have reached my maximum potential and have no regrets. I am confident that I would carry these attributes with me onto a team as a collegiate athlete. I would also continue to put in the hard work I have as a student. My cumulative GPA is a 4.47.
