Aniyah Kitt '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aniyah Kitt. I am a senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton Florida and will graduate in 2024. My current weighted GPA is 3.78. I love running! I started in the 7th grade and  I haven’t looked back since . I know I have so much untapped potential and I am excited to develop as a runner. 

I am a sprinter for both indoor and outdoor. My main events are the 60m, 100m, 200m, and occasionally 400m and Long jump. In addition, I participate in the 4x100m  and the 4x200m.

In 2020, while in the 8th grade I placed 2nd in the 60m Indoor State Championship and 2nd  in the 100m for the Outdoor State Championship.

In 2021, while in the 9th grade I placed 1st in the Indoor State Championship 60m event. Also in the Outdoor State Championship I placed 1st in the 100m and 2nd in the 200m event. 

In 2022, while in the 10th grade I placed 1st place in the 100m and 200m Outdoor State Championship and 2nd place in the Indoor Championship.

In 2023 during my indoor season we placed 3rd at Nike Indoor Nationals in the 4x200 relay and we currently hold the facility record at the Jimmy Carnes track located in Gainesville. 
During my outdoor season running for Land O Lakes High School I placed 4th in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m.

Recently I moved from Land O Lakes to IMG Academy. It is my hope that though this transition I will develop into a better sprinter. I work hard to get good grades and keep them up during every season. I hope to be fortunate enough to get a track scholarship to achieve my dream of sprinting in college. I hope to be able to become a successful student-athlete throughout my collegiate life.
