I was behind in the game as far as starting to pole vault. I began my freshman year and by the start of my sophomore season I was totally in love with the sport. The summer before my junior year I got put into a boot and was out for 6 months. In November before my junior season I started to relearn the sport. It was a good break for my body and I started succeeding quickly. In the last month of my 2017 season my personal best increased by a foot. This is around the time I decided that I don't want to have to stop pole vaulting after my senior year. Im in love with my sport and I hope to do it for as long as possible. I have worked very hard in school and i am proud if my grades but i am always striving for better. This year for example Im taking 6 AP classes. I am very involved in my church, I am not a partier, I have been to 1 party thus far in high school. Most of my time is spent, at church, at training or other sports like cheerleading, and with my family.
