Personal Statement
Ever since the summer of 4th grade going into 5th grade I always knew track is what I wanted to do. I love the competition and the motivation to become a better athlete and person in general. Not only did track enhance my ability to be better each and every year, but it introduced me to a whole new lifestyle. It made me a leader, more confident, more wise, stronger, and etc. My collegiate goals is to strive to be the best as I am learning each and everyday and meeting new people and learning from my surroundings in the classroom and on the track. What makes me a great candidate for college teams is that I am an easy learner and I love to help. Helping people helps me because as their learning I'm also learning. On my high school team, people most often ask me for advice on how to do certain things and the skills that I have learned over the years benefit them in ways. What makes me different from other recruits in athletics is that I am a student of the game. I always study my opponents and listen to my coaches on what I can improve on, take videos of myself and study what I am doing wrong because I am still learning and growing. There is always room for improving. The things that make me different in academics is that I grasp the material and produce great work.
