Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Flavia Almeida. I started running both track and cross country my freshman year of high school. I grew to love the sport because it has taught me and continues to teach me very valuable lessons each day. Such as persevering through obstacles and overcoming fears every time I step up to the line. My ultimate goals are to compete at the highest level during my next two years of high school, and work hard to progress as much as possible, so that I can continue my running career throughout college.
