Personal Statement
My name is Emelia (Emmy) Huebner and I am a cross country and distance track runner at Seffner Christian Academy. I am in the class of 2022 and just entered my senior year but have been running Varsity and Middle School Cross country simultaneously since 6th grade and Varsity Track also since 6th.
My goal is to possibly run for a Division I program after high school. I took high school classes in middle school and have a 4.32 GPA. My SAT score was 1030 taken in 7th grade. I currently have an SAT score of 1380 and an ACT score of 31.
I truly love to run and hope to improve every year in high school. I have broken several records at Seffner Christian, my personal bests were running a 5:43 1600 in 2018. My 5k PR is 20:07 set at districts one year and I finished 32nd in the 1A State Varsity Championships in Tallahassee the same year.
I also won the championship in the 2017 Middle School 3K Cross Country Open Race.
