I began running when I was 12 years old and from then on, I knew that I wanted to run at a collegiate level.I have been very involved in my community. I have volunteered with my local church to do a door to door food drive, to store more canned foods in our local food bank, and I also helped in local lawn care day. I am also very involved in FCA at school. I am a very responisible, respectful, and trustworthy person. I always go out of my way to help a new, younger athlete on the team learn how to improve their running skills and I get along very well with others. Not only do I study my running and my training but, I also study hard in the classroom to maintain a high GPA. I have maintained honor roll, all three years of high school.
