Track is my passion. Track is what drives me. I have been running track since I was nine years old and I instantly fell in love with it. Despite getting injured in my 9th-grade season and my season getting canceled after I opened up with an awesome time in my 10th-grade year, I am more ready than ever to get on that track and show that I am the one to be looking out for. I have a determined mindset and a never give up attitude. I carry that same mindset on and off the track. I am also academically driven. Being in the magnet program at my school, running track, volunteering, and taking care of my duties at home has taught me how to deal with stress and how to overcome difficult setbacks. My goals are to attend a college that ultimately provides two things I love, which is a love for this sport and my love for pursuing my education in the medical field.
