Athletics and academics are both incredibly important to me. In both areas of my life, I’m always looking to improve and be the best version of myself that I can. I enjoy challenging myself, and I enjoy seeing effort reap results.
Being a four sport athlete, I have gained many important personal skills, including, dedication, commitment, work ethic, and leadership. I know there is never a time to settle for where I’m at and be complacent. I’m always working to improve my skills in any form possible. This mindset has helped me to win 2 individual state championships in cross country and 3 in track. I’m still looking ahead to the place that I can be and areas that I can further improve.
I know that, while I’m an athlete, I’m also a student. My academics are an extremely high priority in my life. While playing sports, I’ve had to engage my time management skills to ensure the quality of my studies. I have held the #1 spot in my class for my entire middle and high school years, and I enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge in ways that I never knew I could.
My goal is to find a school that will challenge me in both the athletic and academic fields of my life. I want to prepare for my career and life after college, while I also do what I love to do, run. I know that, with the skills that I’ve acquired, I have what it takes to be on your team!
