Personal Statement

After graduating high school, my goal is to further my education while running cross country. My plan is to earn my Ph.D. in Criminology. I have a good work ethic and give 110% in everything I do. I set goals for every cross country/track meet I enter and strive to meet them. I realize failure is a part of success, and I don't let it bring me down. I have a positive attitude. I try to encourage my team mates in reaching their goals. I love seeing my results get better as I continue to run. When I'm running I feel at home. Running is my escape from stress. Academics mean everything to me. I try to maintain a high GPA. Everyday, I'm striving to be the best I can be in both my academics and athletics.
