Winning the Georgia Middle School State Championship as a 6th grader was probably the highlight of my career so far, but not winning it the next year really motivated me to work harder and be better. I always wanted to be the fastest so I ran with the boys a lot and they helped me be the best I can be. My neighbor ran and he told me I should go join the track team when I was seven years old. What I have learned from track and cross country is that working as a team is so important to achieve big things and you have to sacrifice things to be the best. But not everything has been easy, I have had some injuries like a major case of severs that I couldn't run for a summer and I broke my ankle. So I've had to come back from injuies and build myself back up and work hard to get back to where my competitors were.
