I would like to compete in track at the college level, and obtain a bachelors degree. I am willing to give all my effort to become the best athlete I can. I am coachable, hardworking, and competitive. I am a 3 sport high school varsity athlete and enjoy playing basketball and running cross country but track is my favorite and where my focus is. I would love the opportunity to further my education while doing what I love and learning new techniques and skills to help me along the way.
What has pushed me to be a better track and field athlete was my freshman year at state when I was running the 300 hurdle finals. The hurdles did not go as expected and I was discouraged that it did not go as well as i wanted. That pushed me to work even harder and try my best not to make the same mistake in the years to come, and the next year I performed much better at state and I hope to continue to improve my times and skills in not only the 300 hurdles, but also the 100m, 4x4, and 4x2.
