I am very passionate about sports. I have loved them since I was young. I previously was injured in January of this year playing basketball and had surgery to repair a torn ACL and double menisci in February. I am in the process of recovery and am very eager to make a comeback. This injury has motivated me to work harder to get back to and surpass the physique I was at before the surgery. I am going to be playing all the sports offered at my school at the varsity level with a special attention focused on track and field. I will be conditioning starting the day I am fully cleared by the doctor. It will most likely be June of 2015,
Not only am I an aspiring athlete, I am a top level student. I have a 3.975 GPA, only affected by a B that I pulled in a first semester Spanish class. I have been taking college level classes since the beginning of my junior year of high school.I am capable of balancing school work with sports training, friends, and work. I have been doing all the sports offered since I was in elementary and have been on all varsity levels of sports since Freshman year. I would love to have the opportunity to further my athletic career into my college education.
