Personal Statement
My name is Brittany Fisher and I attend Montini Catholic High School in Lombard, IL., Class Of 2014. I started running Cross Country and Track in 5th Grade at St Alexander's School in Villa Park, IL., where I hold many school records. In 7th grade, I was Cross Country All American at the Junior Olympics in Virginia, placing 10th. Since my Freshman Year of High School I have enjoyed competing at the Varsity Level. My Freshman year I was also All State for Cross Country with a three mile time of 17:57, and I have ran in the state finals every season since then. I am proud of the accomplishments of our 4x800 relay team because we have set many school records and participated in State Finals for the past three years. Since my team and my school are small, there are not many opportunities for me to run open events since I run the 4x800 and 4x400.
My college major is undecided at this time but I am slightly interested in Physical Therapy or Education. I would also like to compete in Track And Cross Country at the College level. Running is a big part of my life, and the thing I love most is being part of a team that is like my second family.
