Personal Statement

Well senior year and we're hit with Covid19..  crazy times.  I was accepted to Western Illinois University. Just really hope I will be able to get on the track team.  Stay safe everyone. And best of luck to everyone.

Well here it is the end of July. Summer running club is in full force.  School starts back in 19 days.  IT'S MY SENIOR YEAR!! I am now the President of the national honor society.  Summer fire cadet training was awesome this year I actually got to be in leadership rolls this year. So much to get busy with.  Grant paperwork to fill out (thank heavens for my mom's help) X-C training starting up when school starts. It's make it or break it time. Just working on trying to get some scholarships going.

Check back later with ya ll

Well here it is my Junior year wow time is flying by.

First X-C meet today.  Wish me luck..

I have been doing track and field now for 5 years. My freshmen year just ended for me the other day. I made it in to sectionals but not state.

My goals for next season is to train in the 400 and the 4x400. I will also be doing cross country again in the fall .

I will be going into fire science in college to pursue a career as a fire marshall.

I am a cadet on the fire department here in Manito Illinois.

I also am in the band at the high school I play the flute this is my 5th year playing flute and 5th year playing in a band and my 1st year playing in a marching band and a pep band.

I currently carry a 3.90 in school and will leave my freshmen year with high honors.

Sophomore year is in full swing.  I am running cross country again this year. I was out for 2 weeks after my first meet due to a strained Achilles tendon but after 2 weeks off back at it full force and doing great.

Summer was spent running summer track and going to U OF I for 4 days of full on fire cadet training at the Illinois Fire Service Institute.  .

5-13-2018 Well track has ended . I made it to sectionals ran my 400 in 1:08 . I placed 1st in my heat and finished 6th over all not too bad for my first year at the 400 m.  My 4x4 finished 1st in our heat and 6th over all. Our 4x1 finished 1st in our heat but placed 8th over all.

Summer will find me running and working on my 400 and well im going to start working on my long jump again yes im going to give the long jump another shot I did it 5th thru 8th grade . just messing around im jumping 15 feet so I figured what the heck.
