Sterling Scarlette '23 Recruiting Profile

The first thing that comes to mind when describing my desire to succeed, both on the track and is life, is the word passion. I have been blessed with a strong mindset to be a positive influence in every arena of life. Having the passion to put forth the effort when no one is looking, to be successful at a sport and in the classroom, gives me the strength, dedication, and courage to succeed. As a wise person once said, in competitive running the first 75% you pace with your mind and the last 25% you run with you heart. As part of any team,  it is my goal to contribute in an effective manner while always remaining humble in the quest. I am committed to continuing both my career in the classroom and on the track team at a collegiate level and look forward to what God has in store for me.
