My collegiate goals are to find a school that can help me reach my career goals in the medical field. I’m considering something in athletic training, nursing, radiological science - just not decided yet. I would then like to find a school that I can be a valuable member of their track program.
Last year, as a freshman, I finished 7th in Illinois Class 1A in the 400M with a time of :59.60. I ran a :59.94 in the prelims. I also ran the anchor leg on our state qualifying 4x400 team.
The very first day of practice this year, I injured my hamstring. I spent the season in physical therapy and rehab. I ran one event late in the season just as a training session. My coaches and I decided to not compete the rest of the season since I still have two more years of high school. I’m now back to training and running pain free and looking forward to my junior year. I’m very motivated to go hard again and get even faster.
Please contact me if you have questions. I look forward to being a valuable teammate.
