2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I started running track my freshman year and have been running varsity for 3 years now. When I first began track I thought track was more about individual accomplishments and recognition and although that still holds true with some, for me it’s about the team and the family atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoy running track and track has allowed me to grow as a person and has taught me the value of teamwork, leadership, commitment and sacrifice.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I believe that I possess the talent to compete at the college level and I also believe that in the right program I could make an immediate impact.
