Personal Statement
I attend Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville, IN. I have run both cross country and track every year of highschool, and have been on the varsity team all six seasons. My main events in track are the 3200 and 1600, but I have run in the 4x800 relay, 800, and 4x400 relay. I have been on the First Team All-City and All-Conference for cross country in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Last year (2017), I was an honorable mention for the 3A State Team, and this year (2018), I was on the 3A State Team. I have gone to state in cross country all three years with my teammates. I work just as hard in school as in sports, and I have earned a GPA of 3.9. My current SAT score is a 1340. I have made Academic All-City in cross country in 2016, 2017, and 2018 and in track in 2017 and 2018. This year, I was honored to make the Academic All-State Team. I am excited to find a college that challenges me both physically and academically, with a supportive and talented team.
