Tierra Sydnor '19 Recruiting Profile

Anyone who knows me will tell you, I always have a story to tell. There are many ways to tell a story.  Through words, through actions, and through aspirations.  I use words in my stories to guide my listeners in visualization of the world I created. I do this everyday as president of Key Club at HSE and president of Beyond Me HSE a branch of Beyond Me initiative, a fundraising nonprofit to bring entrepreneurs to Haiti. Another great way to to engage an audience is through action. Their eyes captivated by your every single move.  And what can I say, I am captivating. I have 5 Indiana state titles, the school record in the 400, long jump, 4x400, 4x200 and 4x100, and my greatest moment, AAU TRACK AND FIELD NATIONAl CHAMPION in the 400h.  Now as every great storyteller, I constantly envision the future. Graduating top 15% of my class, majoring in animation and writing, and becoming an NCAA champion in the 400 hurdles my freshman year.  A tall order, yes, but the people who know me would say what I imagine tends to come true; not because I simply believe in it, but will work for it day and night until I get it.  After-all, what’s a good story without a happy ending?
