My collegiate goals are to attend a four year college and get my bachelors degree in either nursing or physical therapy. After that, I plan to attend graduate school to get my masters degree in physical therapy or to become a nurse practitioner, I am still undecided between the two. While attending a four year college I would like to participate in track by throwing the discuss. I believe that I would be a good candidate for their team for many reasons. While I may not have the best distances, I have been working hard in the off season trying to get better and I am expecting my distances this coming season to improve. So far this summer, I have been consistently between 120- 130. One way I am different from other recruits is my leadership abilities. The past two years I have been a captain for my soccer and track teams. I have also been elected to the Athletic Leadership Council and I am the current Vice President of both Student Council and National Honor Society. In athletics I differ from others through my work ethic. I take the weight room and conditioning very seriously and I dedicate much of my off season to improving for the upcoming year. At my high school I currently have the women's record for squat at 315, am tied for the power clean record of 160, and have the number four bench at 130. In school, I take my grades very seriously. I have an A- GPA of 10.53 on a twelve point scale and strive for A's in all of my classes and as mentioned earlier, I qualified to be a member of the National Honor Society this year.
