The 2015 cross country season was a very big success for me. I worked with a new coach where I feel like I could reach potential I had in store. Not only did I win Conference, but I also qualified for state which is a huge accomplishment in my school. Unfortantly, I decided to put running to the side and join the swim team as I did in previous years. I also had a lot of success in this sport, being named captain my second year on the team and only being a junior. The season came to a rap so I picked up running again. I was so excited until the season felt long and grudgy, a feeling I have never experienced before. The whole season I was very ill which included multiple sinus infections, getting my tonsils removed, and later finding out I had an untreated case of mono. This was definately not how I wanted my season to go considering I had such big goals. Track concluded, and it was on to my favorite time of the year- cross country. This is my fourth year on the team, and now a third different coach. I recently found out that I have asthma, and some pain in my lower leg. I have not reached my expectations, but I know I have so much potential. I dropped over two minutes from my sophomore to my junior year, but lost that coach this year. I am ready to have a set coach in college, and to work as hard as I can because I love this sport so much and I know I have a lot to offer.
