Personal Statement
Throughout high school I learned what it took to become a student athlete. I learned that to achieve something sacrifices needed to be made under any circumstances. I have learned that it takes hard work, discipline, time management and regulation to maintain being both a student and an athlete. In college, I would like to stay focused on my education and if given the opportunity to continue to develop my athletic career. In both school and athletics, I show dedication, courage, and responsibility. I am different from others because if I am ever having a bad practice or meet, I do not let it bring down mine or my teams mentality. I know being a college student athlete is a large responsibility to handle, but I am confident that I can handle that responsibility and carry what I have learned from high school to the college level.
