Personal Statement
In college, my goal is to graduate with a degree that will help me succeed in the occupation I have chosen. I prefer to attend a four year college. While looking into the field of study I have became interested in, I am very passionate about it. I am wanting to go into the field of Criminal Justice, specifically to become a Paralegal. I am currently working for an attorney's office and find it very interesting.
School, granted, is difficult to balance while being involved in a sport, but I try my best to balance it just right. As this is my senior year, I have to start deciding what it is that I would like to do in the future. I am part of the school-to-work program at my high school. I go to school half day, and go to work the other half. This is to help students decide what they want to do after high school. Like I said, I work at an attorney office in my town, and I've became very interested in the idea of going to school to be a Paralegal, specifically into the business corp. of law.
For only starting pole vault my sophomore year, I feel like I have done pretty well for how long I have been doing it. I have became very passionate about this particular sport, I never thought I would like a sport like pole vault, but turns out I love it! When I am at a meet, I always shoot higher, sometimes even higher than my original goal to help me reach for my original set goal. I always strive to do my very best no matter what. I am always striving to make my coaches proud of me as well as myself. But if I get the opportunity to vault in college, making my coach proud would be a priority. I work very hard for what I have earned for how long I have been vaulting.
