Hi, I’m Marin Hart. I graduate in 2022 and afterwards, I look forward to being a college athlete. I’m looking for a college in my home state Indiana or near my grandparents in Texas, or North Carolina. My career goals are currently undecided; I know that I am interested in either the medical field or business. I am a two sport athlete who is able to maintain an honor roll status in all honors classes. I strive to encourage teammates and to bring energy on the court and onto the track.
Over the years, coaches and teammates have complimented me on my high level of energy and competitiveness.Through basketball and track I have learned to have a positive mind-set. My parents and GOD have been a great influence in my life, for they remind me that winning first isn’t everything and that if I make mistake then I can learn from it and keep going. I first became serious about playing basketball when I was in third grade. My mother had me shooting hoops at the YMCA and was enrolling me to youth camps. It was evident by sixth grade that I was quick and could jump. This transferred over to the track and field. In my eight grade year of middle school I went to state for high jump, 100m hurdles, 200m hurdles, and 4X100 relay. I had won high jump at a height of 5”4, runner-up for 100m hurdles at 15.94, fifth in 200m hurdles, and fifth in the 4X100 relay. Last year track season was cut short due to Covid-19, so I'm looking forward to continuing to develop and compete this season in high jump and hurdles.
